I’m mom to a baby boy named Jakob Eliot who we sometimes call Jake. We spend a great amount of time watching him giggle, blow bubbles, and attempt to stick his entire fist in his mouth. Somewhere in between all that activity we get the house picked up and the laundry done.
As of May 2008 I decided to work from home as a freelance editor. It’s a tricky balance trying to care for Jake fulltime, work around twenty hours a week, and keep up with the house, have a social life, and do things I love. But, I have an amazing husband who is my greatest supporter and best friend, and I have never been happier in my life.
